Flavor has even less of the blueberry taste i had hopped for oh well, nice try. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2003 This brew poured a large head of mostly diminishing small to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that left an excellent lacing. Its transparent amber brown colored body left me filled with anticipation for my first taste. I was not disappointed. It was a malt hop mixture with a cloying blueberry edge. Its aroma was also indicative of the blueberry in the brew along with other malt and hop notes. Braudog (3789), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle with an unmarked "best before" bar on the label. Poured a lot darker than I’d expected and highly sedimented. There’s a big solid-foamy top. The aroma is just like that blueberry syrup that I liked when I was a kid. There’s a bit of the berry in this, but in a very chained-up way ... over the top of it is an almost florally hoppy beer, this is an odd and interesting blend of beers. I love blueberries. I love beer (duh). But I’ve never been a fan of blueberry beers. But this gets away with it a little bit better by not flaunting the beers in an over-the-top way. Decent. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 10, 2006 Pours a surprisingly light gold with no tint of blueberry that you sometimes get in these ales. Aroma is nice fresh maine blueberries, and sweet- kinda like fresh blueberry pie. Moderalty sweet flavor with more fruit flavors balanced with a clean hop bitterness. Easy to drink and doesnt get too sweet. Can easly drink a pint of this stuff. CapFlu (3494), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 16, 2005 (Draught) Sampled on tap at the Great Lost Bear in Portland, ME. Nose of very ripe blueberries. Unbelievably dark hazy copper body. The flavour carries a stingy medicinal finish that is very agreeable! Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 27, 2004 Copper color with big bubbles resulting in an off white head that went away pretty quickly. Flavor was an extremely tart blueberry flavor. Could be refreshing if you get used to it. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 25, 2004 Bottle. Medium sized off-white creamy and smooth head that mostly diminished, fine-medium sized bubbles, fair lacing, carbonated, transparent and an orange brown hue. Aroma was malty, sweet and blueberries. Flavor was sweet, acidic, tart, sour, dry, and blueberries. Mouthfeel was tingly and dry. Not one of the better fruit beers that I have rated. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 30, 2005 On tap at the Mellow Mushroom in Chattanoooga, Tn. Pours a medium copper with a wispy white head. Faint, fruity, blueberry like aroma - think Boo Berry Cereal and you got it. Flavor has the same sweet blueberry essence to it with a bit of underlying maple syrup, refreshing at first, but turns cloying near the end. Would be a decent summer refreshing, but could not drink more than one. Thick enough mouthfeel to make it interesting.
