Blueberries! I guess I didn’t know what to expect on this one. I’m not a large fan of fruit beers so I expected the worst. I was pleasantly surprised however. The flavor is very well blended. Blueberry taste abounds but blends very nicely with the malt background. On the palate it seems quite carbonated but feels good in the mouth like eating blueberry pie. Somewhat dry and sweet on the finish. Overall a very nice fruit beer. I actually could see drinking this one again through the summer if I can find it. Someone sure likes it because the 6 packs fly off the shelves here. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 3, 2007 This beer is an exercise in dutiful restraint and good planning, or so it would seem. Deep orange body is slightly cloudy, clearing quickly. A tall white head fades fast, leaving but a hint of lacing. Aromas of blueberries, earthy and only semi-sweet, spring outward. Notes of caramel malt, fruit basket, dough all in light to moderate quantity. Flavor is nearly all blueberry, though it’s light and refreshing. A touch of bitterness encompasses the sweet but crisp malt. Finishes soft and long, blueberry pancake batter lingering on. Palate is light and without a hint of syrup, a surprise. Light and lively, even refreshing. Apparently, Maine blueberries are well suited for brewing escapades. Not bad at all, a good take on a typically unstimulating style. The base beer appears to be quality as well. fishingnet (1047), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a large off-white head that fades leaving good lacing. Aroma of blueberries, light spicy wheat, and light caramel. Taste is the same as aroma but light on the blueberries and a little to bitter. Medium mouthfeel with a good amount of carbonation. A good fruit beer but they should have left out the Target hops. Rciesla (3915), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 8, 2006 This light amber ale has a indefinate fruity aroma but the taste is definately bluberry. Not to sweet with a light hoppy finish. Doesn’t leave your mouth sticky. I’m not a big flavored beer fan, but the blueberry is very mild. I’ll buy it again. hopson (596), Williamsville, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 30, 2008 BOTTLE- creamy, crusty, and syrupy blueberry flavor. A nice pie like quality to this one, but a bit too sweet to session. Not bad, considering the genre. jimmack34 (570), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2008 A real surprise. Was reluctant to try a blueberry flavored beer. Very sweet/tart smell and slightly hoppy. Tasted sweet and slightly hoppy. Not so much like blueberry, but fruity and tart. Aftertaste was good as the flavor hung around for a few seconds. Not a beer a would drink all the time, but I am glad I finally tried it. mmmbeer (766), Austin, Texas, USA

Poured reddish/brown with a small head. Hits the mouth with a blueberry note, not overly heavy, with medium body, carries through to the finish. Very enjoyable.
