Nose is very faint with berries...but I am not sure if I am getting blueberries at all. I do get a slight metallic edge. Flavor is hoppy with a metallic tone and not really much berry action going on. Is more sugary and syrupy than anything. But no real blueberry stuff going on. Feel is a bit thick with typical carbonation. As a blueberry brew, I have to say this is not drinkable. Where is the blueberry? sirpsycho (356), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor was a nice amount of blueberry, doesn’t hit you hard like some others, just enough there for you to enjoy, but not get sick of. travita (1970), Frisco, Texas, USA

Taste is not to bad and hints at the blueberries. Aftertaste is also not great. Overall not too bad. awwshiz (76), USA

Since I’m not a fan of blueberries I cannot rate it very high. Nothing great about this one, but nothing awful either. IlanMan (850), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Bottle. Aroma was of fresh blueberries and light malt. Very well balanced brew of berries and malt. Very light hop finish. Pretty decent. tarsparky (12), Flint, Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2007 Amber colored, medium head which disappeared very quickly. Aroma is more gingery than blueberry, and tastes more like ginger ale (to me), than blueberry. Still a decent taste, however. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA

Smells like a blueberry muffin however the smell is artificial. Goes down easy. Lighter ale with the slight blueberry taste which is not bad but the aftertaste is not that great.

Pours light amber color with one-inch white head. Served too cold and in a frosted glass. Pretty strong Blueberry Shortcake nose (like those dolls from the 70s). Tastes like the blueberry has left the house! Slight wheaty aftertaste is all that’s left. Thin and watery.

Draught at $3 Dewey’s, Portland. Bright copper color with small off-white head and some scattered lace remnants. Fresh aroma of the wild blueberries that grow up here. Lots of pie. Crust and filling together. Fizzy mouthfeel. Some hop, not as soda-pop as I remembered. Tart, sweet, and bitter as in seed. Not vibing on it but overall a nice blueberry: flash of blueberry here and there, lack of sweetness but also of complexity.
