2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pored like a cola with nice small beige head. The aroma is much like the taste; sweet & malty, lightly roasted nuts up front. A squirrel would like the aroma. Very nutty. A bit more dry towards the finish. Very light body, too light. Watery mouthfeel, ok at best.

Bottle. Dark brown with no head. Aroma of roasted malts. Very light body with roasted malt and light coffee notes. A little watered down for my tastes.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
FROM NOTES: July 10, ’12
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.
A: Light toasted aroma. A bit sour.
A: Pours a clear, brown with a two-finger, off-white head that diminished somewhat quickly. The lacing was fair.
T: Light sweetness and bitterness. Little flavor. The finish was about average.
P: Light body with minimal carbonation, was almost flat and watery.
O: I will have to try this beer again, as I suspect I got a bad bottle. What little taste there was, was not good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Amber brown body, looks filtered. Foamy, fading beige head. Pleasant caramel, light chocolate aroma. Smooth chocolate amber nut brown beer. Medium bodied, fresh and sessionable. Balanced by a nice crisp hop tone, but the finish is luscious, deep malt. Solid offering.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Boring brown is pretty boring. Light malty and sweet with very mild hoppiness. Not bad but again its unremarkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured as a taster at the brewery. Nice brown ale with a bit of caramel on the palate. Finishes smooth and if quite drinkable. A good session ale and bound to be good with brewpub-style food.
