3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a golden brown colored body with a one finger small white head that died within five seconds, no lacing was seen. Carbonation was seen slowly rising in columns.
The smell had some grains at the center with floral grassy notes slightly in the background.
The taste was balanced between the floral grassy notes and the grains. Some corn comes out, but nothing offensive. It also slightly sweetens a bit as the beer warms.
On the palate, it sat about a light with some carbonation making itself known, yet it wasn’t overbearing. It was pretty drinkable, but the ABV is unknown, so not sure what to say other than sessionable by mouthfeel.
Overall, this is not a bad summer beer. I think I would have this again depending upon the circumstances.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
thot I had this, but no! from a bottle a little more gold than expected. smell is typical mild sterile wheat ale perfume. was expecting more bitterness than I get here, almost as refined as a wit bier. very good co2 makes it almost bubbly fruit. more astringent bitterness sets in during the session. yes, now we are approaching the wheat ale style I know. IMHO a little better than the typical wheat ale.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This was part of a sampler at Bar Harbor Brewing in downtown Bar Harbor. Pours a bit hazy, a bit of yeast and lemon on the nose. Slight bit of wheat on the palate and some yeast.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy gold with a white head. The nose is grainy with a hint of vegetals. The flavor carries that graininess forward with a dose of butter and a sharp bitterness that seems a bit out of place. The bitterness fades leaving you with a slightly oily mouthfeel and a slightly buttery finish. This brew is a lot of things, but crisp isn’t one of them. I was shocked to see this is a wheat beer. I would have guessed golden ale or bitter given the English nature of the flavor.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lemon and grassy hops in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet, with a little lemon tartness in the finish. Better than I expected.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Light aroma, wheat and malt. Clear yellow/gold pour. Taste starts off a little malty sweet and finishes with bread and grain. Body is pretty crisp and easy to drink. Overall, a decent summer pick for something lighter.
