2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at the brewery. Light, refreshing, and straightforward, I don’t really taste the ginger, and neither did anyone else in my tasting group.

bottle, just a plain lifeless pale ale. Nothing wrong with it, a little grainy. Was just hoping to taste some ginger and i didn’t. Oh well.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a slightly orangey dark amber with a thin off-white head that is gone quickly. Nose is slightly skunky and reminiscent of the back room of the store I worked at as a teen, where we kept empties. Taste is balanced. Not too sweet. Not particularly hoppy. Ginger comes through in the aftertaste. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Not bad, but not as gingery as I had hoped and not good enough to keep me coming back.

Hmmm, polarized on this one. Pours a nice orange with a white head, and smells very good, with ginger and lemon. Taste starts of nice, with lots of ginger, but then ends with this weird sweetness that is off putting. Had on tap at the brewery.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: Not as much ginger as I’d expect in the nose; more hefe-like in character with a little banana and wheat. Appearance: Light, hazy bronze body with a creamy white head that settles into a white ring. Flavor: Thankfully, much more ginger apparent here; hefe character more prevalent toward the finish with some dried wheat and banana. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: I warmed up to this a bit; a little odd, but still a solid, interesting beer.

A summer beer with a kick! Light but spicy; orange-ish color, lively on the palate with a fruity finish. A nice, drinkable beer on a summer day.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle, definite ginger aroma and ginger taste. A light summer ale with ginger, this one just wasn’t for me. Decent, again, just not my style.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a hazy orange amber body leaving a small half finger white head lasting for less than ten seconds. Small streams of carbonation were seen rising. There was barely any lacing.
The smell had the ginger up front with some light malts coming out as the beer warmed, not much else going on.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, she sat about a medium and was sharp as hell, probably due to the ginger, so its expected (it tells me the ginger is real and not fake). For 5.2, I’d say this is fairly drinkable, but the sharpness of the ginger helps to bring it down a bit.
Overall, I’m a big fan of ginger and actually really liked this and if I lived in their distro would definitely want more of.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
No head light ginger aroma. Week watery flavor with slight ginger. Almost like a tea. Refreshing. Enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Mild wheat aroma, pours a slightly hazy light amber with a full white head. Some wheat malt flavor, with a touch of ginger and bitterness in the finish. Not really much going on with this beer, it seems like it missed the mark somewhere.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan. Fading soda-like head. Coconut-fruity aroma isn’t unpleasant, but isn’t a great beer aroma either. Ginger forward, but a decent enough of a malt base to ground it. Well done for a Ginger beer certainly, just not a beer you really want to revisit.
