starfireming (309), Richmond, Virginia, USA Apr 22, 2007 Slightly hazy gold body, white head. Grain aroma. Ginger only shows up in the flavour, which is actually pretty good for something that reminded me of Miller Lite on first sip. Not bad.
bhensonb (2887), Woodland, California, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bottle from Wine Cellar. Hazy golden tinged amber color with a slight white head. Aroma is ginger. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. The flavor is primarily ginger, though there seems to be a bit of breadiness underneath. This is a very good ginger. It keeps the spiciness right on through to the end. dangelicom1 (17), Shelton, Connecticut, USA Aug 25, 2008 this was a strange beer. i have never tasted anything like it before. i can see how people might like it paired with some Asian cuisine but i was not a fan of the ginger. kkearn (652), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 12oz bottle, purchased at the brewery. Pours hazy pale yellow-golden, capped with a moderate sized white head. The aroma is primarily ginger, with some wheat and white pepper. Ginger flavor is not as pronounced as I expected, at least not initially. The flavor is primarily cereal and wheat, with ginger ale and orange flavor toward the finish. Ginger hangs around for a fairly long finish, but it’s not too intense. Interesting beer, but the flavor just doesn’t work for me. thornecb (1074), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet malt and mild ginger aromas. Sweet full malt upfront with a cloying ginger finish. tagz (308), USA Aug 11, 2008 bottle. a light wheat beer with a subtle spicy finish. the ginger isn’t super pronounced - nothing near a NA ginger beer - but it is there if you’re looking for it. light body, dry finish. it has potential but doesn’t quite make it there.
