wickedpete (551), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA Oct 31, 2007 Nice refreshing beer with a generous ginger spiciness. Goes great with thai food, or when in the mood for something different.
kkearn (611), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 12oz bottle, purchased at the brewery. Pours hazy pale yellow-golden, capped with a moderate sized white head. The aroma is primarily ginger, with some wheat and white pepper. Ginger flavor is not as pronounced as I expected, at least not initially. The flavor is primarily cereal and wheat, with ginger ale and orange flavor toward the finish. Ginger hangs around for a fairly long finish, but it’s not too intense. Interesting beer, but the flavor just doesn’t work for me. thornecb (1033), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet malt and mild ginger aromas. Sweet full malt upfront with a cloying ginger finish. tagz (304), USA Aug 11, 2008 bottle. a light wheat beer with a subtle spicy finish. the ginger isn’t super pronounced - nothing near a NA ginger beer - but it is there if you’re looking for it. light body, dry finish. it has potential but doesn’t quite make it there. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 10, 2008 This was actually pretty good stuff, but you have to really like ginger, because this tastes like the real thing, which was pleasing on the palate. Grainy cereal maltiness, wheaty and citrusy, with great flavors of ginger throughout. Nicely done. DuffMan (1915), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Hazydeep brassy gold, thick dense white finger-thick cap. Aroma of grainy cereal and fresh ginger. Flavour is wheaty with natural ginger flavour in good balance, and a nice lemon oil accent. I was pleasantly surprised with this one.
