5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
"Complex flavor" is an understatement for this beer. Way more to it than just being a standard pale ale with a bit of rye. Great balance between the malts, rye and hops with the citrus hop profile coming through little bit after the rye. Incredibly versatile as it is easy drinking enough for a hot summer day but will definitely work well through the fall and winter. My new go-to.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Off-white head with good retention on a dark murky brown body with orange highlights. Rye, slight hop spiciness, and a touch of grapefruit like hops in the aroma, but pretty tame. Flavor is similar, with a decent hop burns and spice from the rye. Lacking a little depth but nicely dry. Medium to lighter body. Not bad.

16oz pour at Paradiso Georgetown. Pours a hazy, caramel amber, with some creamy, lacing, white head. Nose is light pepper, some bread crust, a little orange, some soap. Flavor is sweet, malty, orange, a little star fruit, some lime, a little pithy, some soap. Clean, slightly metallic finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Meridian Pint, brewery release day. Welcome to the neighborhood! This one poured a transparent ruby color, with a small head. Pretty decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is a nice malted one, with a note of black pepper and spices. Flavor is distinctively rye, with notes of cracked pepper and a nice citrus finish.
