A pretty good beer. Almost like a spicy pale ale. Some pepper, citrus, and bread. Tried with Jess at Iron Horse in 2014.

Nice rye pale ale that really highlights the barley well with a good citrus hop frame. Pours maroon with OK head and lacing. Average carbonation with medium consostency . slick texture. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

(tap Beer Baron) copper with generous tan head. Bready malt and floral hops aroma. Flavor is bready malt, rye spiciness, with a floral hops finish.

Always love me some rye and this one didnt disapoint. Nice mix of malts and dry finish. Decent alcohol that was not too overpowering.

Pours black-red with fading white head.
Bit malty sweetish nose, but flavour is all business: rye sticky and sticking out, roasted malts, with an almost dry bitter finish.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a large, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is toast and cookie malt, dates, spicy and earthy hops. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness and a clean lager character with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft sample at Iron Horse. Reddish brown with small offwhite head. Loads of malt, both bitter and sweet, balanced with grains and light citrus hops. Very well done.

Hazy, dark amber-brown with a large khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of rye bread, caramel and citrus.
Taste of spicy herbal hops, caramel and rye bread.
Medium body and medium carbonation.

Draft. Large beige head atop crystal clear copper body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, grape/grapefruit, light orange, bread. Taste is moderately sweet, orange/lemon, some grapefruit, bread. Light-medium body.

Draft at Churchkey. Pours clear reddish brown with a frothy off white head. Tastes light, fruity, with medium citrus hops, some bitterness, and some malty spiced cider. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet gummy candy, funk, and herbs.
