Golden and cloudy, with delicate fruity flavors and aromas and the lightest touch of bitterness, this is an easy-drinking ale.

4 oz. taster at Atlas. Cloudy yet brassy amber color, with a robust yet thin layer of foam, as the first taster in the series. Does have the malty, slightly yeasty taste of a Belgian ale, which I could only pick up in the nose after the first sip. As the lightest beer in the lineup, this could have been a plain blonde ale, but its interesting they went with this wit as their "opener." Slight bubblegum and lemongrass note., a with a slight bitterness in the background. Feels more alcoholic than it really is, thanks to a slightly chewy malt profile.

4oz pour. Pours a murky yellow with a thin head and some lacing. Aroma is of clove and coriander with some citrus. Malt seems funky. Taste is flooded with orange and coriander. Crisp finish with a slightly bready aftertaste.

Sampler pour on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). My first stop in saw 10 drafts. This was one. Pours a hazy golden hue, darker body, some sunny glow on the edges, but dulled inside. Frothy whitish head dies to a thicker ring, laces pretty well as a ringer. Aromas are mellow, a bit non-distinct: touches of flaked wheat, bread, and dough. Just a touch of orange peel, mellow spice. Meh. A bit bland and understated. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a bit doughy. Bready malts, touches of lemon, yeasty spice. A bit thicker than expected, girthy and a bit bland. Middle is touches of apple, bread, gentle grassy element. Some lingering sweetness into the backend, some honey, wet dough. Touches of orange as I grow into it, rind and oils, gentle coriander, more bread and grainy malt, a touch sticky still on the palate. Finish is bready and fruity, a bit sweet, lingering stick, orange and apple, pear, kiss of honey. Its just a bit girthy, not sweet. Not my thing. Ok, but you can find a better Wit around these parts.

Not a wheat fan, but I sorta liked this. Not "too wheaty" and smooth. Grassy and citrus flavor, easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours slight haze golden with white head. Aroma has spicy and skunky yeast character, mild banana coming through too, Belgian yeast does come through, Flavors have lots of banana, peppery yeast and lemons, touch of caramel sweetness but this isnt a bad Belgian pale, crisp and pretty clean finish

Draft at Atlas. This one is almost there. Will be interested to try a future iteration of this beer. Pours a hazed deep gold with a white head. The nose is citrusy, soft vanilla, herbal and a hit of clove (out of place). The clove is the only oddity in this beer at all, like they let the yeast get out of control a little bit. Some crackery wheat in the nose as well. on tasting, medium dry, nice citrus, white pepper and herbs. Bready wheat comes through, building up the body. The clove comes back in to distract, though. Without the clove, this would be solid.
