2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask gravity at Kent BF 2006. In the programme it is down as Highlands and Islands Brewery. Not sure if this and Orkney have merged. Pale gold colour with lasting white head. Very light, bit yeasty, some citric hop. Bit bland, citrus hops are ok if a bit bleached.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Yellow color, steady creamy white head, some lace. Honey, fruits, some barnyard in the nose. Light citrus, citrus peels in the flavor. Reasonably tasty for a 3.6% beer, although not very original.

@ Tass. This beer was all wrong. Tastes like they tried to make a lager with ale yeast, for starters. This resulted in mega butter, because it hadn’t had time to blow off. There’s no hops, either, which is a big no-no in a pilsner. Plus, proper hopping would have taken the edge off of the diacetyl.
