Available in cask (described as "Cask Pilsner"), and in bottle ("Highland Pilsner"), this beer is a delicious straw-coloured session beer, dominated by crisp, fresh, citrus hop character from classic German "noble hops".
Brewed with a balance of best British Ale Malt and Lager Malt, this beer exhibits a pale straw colour. The aroma combines a zesty attack and an apricot fruitiness with the subtle floral hop notes of the Styrian Golding, Saaz and Hallertauer Hersbrucker hops.
Moderate levels of residual sweetness are balanced by a crisp, well-rounded bitterness to give a clean, refreshing mouthfeel in the best traditions of pilsners – pint after pint!

great session beer thanks to secret santa, nice and fresh! pours a crisp gold with a nominal white head that leaves nice lacing. drinks very easily, excellent session brew. very refreshing, subtle hop and malt profiles mingle nicely. nice drinkable body without being complete water, decent amount of creaminess in the back palate with a slightly oily finish. definitely decent stuff.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some citrus hoppyness and fruitiness. Body is light to medium, malty and dryish flavor, some citrus hoppyness and fruitiness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, citrus hoppyness. OK light-bodied dryish golden ale. Although quite light-bodied, citrus hoppyness and fruitiness goes well with malty and dryish body.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear yellow colour with a large, foamy and lacy head. Aroma of strong pale malts and German hops. Flavour of floral hops, pale malts, grass and some mild fruitiness. Light/medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a dry hoppy finish. Very easy to drink.

(Bottle at St Urho’s Pub) The beer poured pale golden and almost clear. Its head was small and white. The mild aroma had citricness and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, mildly grain, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly fruity and bitter. Not a bad beer but too weak in every sense.

Golden yellow beer with medium and white head. Aroma is quite citrusfruity, also some tropical fruits, sweetness and some honey. Taste is biscuity, dry wooden hops, medium bitterness and hint of mustyness. Quite light to drink, but still nice. Medium quality beer without speciality, now this beer will be forgotten too quickly.
