Cask Handpump at the Black Swan, Brighouse 18/08/2007 Floral aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

Cask at The Wenlock, october 07. Whisky, anise, nice caramel butterscotch aroma. Strong and earthy. Smoky, nutty, bacon flavor packed with flavor. Shinny golden color with a small white head. Medium mouthfeel a bit clumsy because of the smoke. Interesting, caramel, smoky pale ale.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock
Cloudy golden brown with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma with some slight malt and cheesy funk. Maybe just a hint of diacetyl too. Peachy hoppy flavour with some really pleasant smoky malt. Unexpected earth and peaty notes. Nicely balanced and interesting.
