Cask@Rugby Beer Festival, 2006. Golden syrupy beer with a fruity and glazed syrupy aroma and a nicely dry and fruity syrupy flavour. Overall a nice fruity beer.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a light golden colour with a thin white head. Citric lemon aroma with barley, caramel and light grassy hops. Flavours are similar with alcohol fairly present and a dry finish. Mild carbonation and mildly bitter with a lingering juicy pineapple character. OK.

Finally, one of my last and therefore most wanted beer from Orkney. Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Clear golden colour, white head. Nose is toffee and some fruits. Flavour is very fruity, lemon, bitter, bit of caramel. Sweet and fruity finish.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2011 Cask @ Robbie’s Bar, Edinburgh. Cereal hop aroma. Hazy golden yellow colour. Resin, hop, grassy flavour. Slightly sour aftertaste. ? A bit off.

@TheWharf Just opend so I get first pint. Fresh floral aroma with some nice Nobel hop aroma. The head is thick and frothy. Flavour is hoppy and full. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very nice.

(Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen) Poured golden and clear. Head was dense, long lasting and white. Aroma contained malts, sweetness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, green apples, sweetnes, malts, hops and mild bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A dark golden beer with a dense orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, elderflowers, and a bit of spice. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit - peaches and mango, as well as elderflowers, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Bon Accord, Glasgow 17/06/10. Pale gold in colour with a decent, white head. Light, floral hop and lemon aroma. Easy drinking, with plenty more hops and some sweet malts, before a dry finish. Good.

Golden of color with a white head. An aroma of malt, bread and fruits. A flavor of honey, sweets and weak hops.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours a clear yellow golden with a small white head. Floral hop aroma. A bit dusty and a bit malty. Flavour is hoppy and dry. Tart finish. A bit grassy. 27-09-09.
