Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - September to November.
NOTE: Originally brewed as a cloudy wheat beer, changed in 2004 to a clear beer.
Tempest Wheat Beer (4.9% abv) is a crystal-clear, full-flavoured wheat beer with hop, citrus and spice character.
This beer takes a balance of Atlas Malted Wheat and Pale Ale Malt. Three additions of Hersbrucker Hallertau hops give a pronounced yet mellow hop character. The banana and citrus character of our yeast, and additions of spices and lemon zest to the boil, complete this beer.

Tasting notes from 2003 Harbury beer festival. Light golden, cloudy with thin white head. Citrus, spice, and mild banana aroma notes. Coriander, sour fruit, banana, and hop flavour notes. Medium dry, bitter finish.

Cask@Twickenham Beer festival. Slightly wheaty malt characters, after all it is a wheat beer. The odd thing is that it had a quite a butterscotchy/caramel sweetness, which i don’t really expect to taste in a wheat beer. A bit on the sweet side. wasn’t bad, but its just not whta i expected from a wheat beer.

Myt work has got this in as part of thier beer festival starting next week. Aroma is lightly fruity with a decent amoutn fo the clove/wheat associated with these beers. Taste is similar with the malt of the ale coming through more and more, though clovey wheat and maybe some fruits having a wee say too, reaosnably sweetish finish. One of the better british wheat beers anywa, not that there is that many.
