Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - June to August.
Wayfarer India Pale Ale (4.4% abv) is a brilliant golden ale with a dry, refreshing bitterness, in the style made famous by Scottish and English brewers’ exports to slake the thirsts of the Raj.
Small amounts of Crystal Malt, Caramalt and Atlas Malted Wheat are added to our best Pale Ale Malt to give this beer its distinctive caramel-and-biscuit maltiness. This, together with a spiciness from Bramling Cross hops, dominates the appealing nose.
On the palate, the Bramling Cross hops and our yeast combine to produce a distinctive yet delicate orange-marmalade taste.
The aftertaste is dominated by a strong but smooth bitterness, which gives this beer a clean, refreshing finish.

Cask at Edinburgh Beer Festival. Very enjoyable beer. Very heavy malty, toffee, fudget nose. Palat is sweet with alot of toffee flavours and not much bitterness. Caramel is all over it.

Cask Conditioned at The Vat & Fiddle, Nottingham. Golden beer with white head. Spicy, fruity and oh so many hops. Dry and clean, loads of bitterness.

Cask at GBBF08. Distinctly fruity hop aroma. Hazy golden colour, very small white head. The flavour has a really good hop character, grassy, citric and grapefruity. Finally a cask ale with some hops.
