1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
355 mL can from Cheryl (Panama vacation), served almost cold in a tulip glass. AP19/07.
App.: Light straw, clear, largish white head.
Aroma: Surprised by herbaceous, peppery hops – not intense, but pleasant; funky wet grain/cereal after that; light sulphur notes.
Palate: Medium-light body and fairly lively carbonation.
Flav.: TONS of cardboard, light saltine cracker; a little corn-based breakfast cereal on swallowing, nothing on the aftertaste.
Badly oxidized – a shame.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pale yellow beer with a fizzy white head that disappeared quickly. Thin grainy nose. Very watery light beer with some corn sweetness. Nothing actively bad here but just not good. A real lawn mower beer.

12oz can. Horrible but free on the plane. Very pale yellow color, not much head. Very light fruity and cardboardish aroma. Watery, papery, cardboardish tropical lager. Really "non offensive" and watery, taste is next to nothing.

Can in Bocas del Toro. Standard macro lager, not that much of a taste, used for drinking in the sun while enjoying the beach.

I lived in Panama off and on for ~8 years and tried all of the local beers. This is a watered down version of a typical American Pilsner. Not much flavor and a slightly bitter and yeasty aftertaste. Not something I would choose to drink unless you just wanted to try out the different local beers.

Can: Thanks El: Served in a Chouffe glass:
White head. Clear yellow colored beer.
Aromas of toilet paper, malts, grains, some herbs and cardboard/paper... Not inviting at all.
Flavours of some malts, soke bitters, some sweet grains... Bit eatery and not much to discover.
Aftertaste is so light, just some watery malts... And a very light bitterness...
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low bodied and a watery texture.

Bottle. Pale yellow with small white foamy head, no discernible aroma, high carbonation, bland sweetish taste, abrupt finish. Loss of time.

Had from bottle (many) at habibis in panama while smoking a bunch of hooka. Easy drinking lager. Bitter. Skunky earth taste but manageable.
