33 cl bottle, batch # 83, best before 13.11.08 - thanks to yngwie. Brown reddish color, almost no head, just some beige bubbles. Aroma is very fruity at first, then the roasted malt takes over. Flavor is sweetish with roasted malt, and also has some bitterness. A bit thin, and not what I prefer for xmas.

Bottle. Dark brown colour, very small head. Light fruity aroma with notes of roasted malts & caramel. Light, sweet taste. Can’t trace much of the hops. Pretty flat.

330ml bottle (bb.13.11.08) from Centra, Oslo. Unclear, dark brown body colour. Missing head. Light nose of dried fruits. Sweet dark malts in flavour added by a touch of bitter fruits. Watered. Taste like a light brown ale alright, but the brew has got a surprisingly lifeless and vapid character (Oslo 13.11.2007).

330 ml bottle [2007 version (batch # 83) picked up @ CC Mat, Lillehammer]. No head and almost no carbonation. Near-clear amber color. Faint aromas of ripe berries and sweet dark malts. Modest flavors of light sweet dark malts. Good hopbitterness. Light to medium body. A little watered down mouthfeel. Dry, light berry/fruity and mild bitter end. Due to the carbonation level, something’s obvious wrong with this bottle. Re-rate pending.

rbesg07, bottled. deep purple, beige head, musty aroma, hints of stonefruits, quite simple tasting, caramel with a faint acidity, pretty average

Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2007
Cloudy copper. 1cm off-white head. Caramelly, pear-like, bready and litchi-like beer. The tropical fruitiness switches over to pineapple, but the bready caramel maltiness stays the core of the beer as soft gingerbread undertones show up towards the finish. A rather average, uncomplicated and quite thin Christmas ale.
