3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned handpump North Bar Leeds 01/05/14. A golden coloured beer with a tight bright white head and lace. A bit of citrus and a bit of pepper in the nice nose. Too biscuity in the mouth though for me. A proper Yorkshire bitter. OK in its camp.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask @The Vintage, Leith. Pours amber, looks nice with a good head to it. Nose is a bit off with wet grass coming through the same find of thing happening with the taste but this time more wet cardboard coming through the citrus fruit. I’d like to try it again, maybe just a bad batch.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Cask, Pimlicoville, 04/02/14.
Clear light golden with a well appointed off white head that dissipates to a covering.
Nose is toasty malt, honey, straw, light citric waftings, bread dough.
Taste comprises bread dough, lemon rind, pale malt, cereals, grassy.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok GB affair but a little ’safe bet’ and veering towards bland.
