2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 harlequinn (2745) - Tacoma, USA - JUN 15, 2006
This was a very different take on this style. Very light, and cloudy, with a small white head. Fruit and citrus in the aroma. Not yeasty at all, just a hint of toasted cereal malts, and light bit of skunky spices. Just typical wheat based beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 19Ei8hty (993) - Washington, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Hazy yellow body with very thin white head. Grainy malt character with highlights of fresh melon and pear. Some banana and a tart yeasty note. A bit watery but still packed with robust flavor. Refreshing and enjoyable.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 IndianaRed (1734) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 7, 2007
Cloudy very very light white/yellow. A trace of a whiye head and spoyyt lacing. Nearly non existant aroma...except for the lemon slice they added. Same goes for the flavor. No real hef yeast notes. Soft almost flat. Dissapointing.

Lemonade appearance with a ring of carbonation. Enticing American wheat aroma with a light, crisp wheat flavor, although rather grainy. Dull, but okay.

Pours a medium yellow. Aromas of grains and grass. Flavor was kind of strange, lots of grainy flavor and a little hops.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Sham (1846) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 2, 2006
Odd pale yellow and slightly cloudy. Looks like a belgian white. Very light aromas of yeast and grassy hops. Slightly sour flavor with some spices. Musky. Not much to this at all. It is an odd beer.

This was a golden yellow hazy brew that just needed a tad more wheat and more time in the fermentor not my favorite but I ma glad I got try.

I find it very difficult to find a good hefe. The bubble gum and clove I have come to expect were completely missing. My least favorite of the Atomic Ales.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 9, 2005
Shimmering opaque yellow. Slightly wheaty aroma. Light palate. Slight oiliness. Vague marshmallow. Quick finish.

Sampled draught at Atomic Ale’s Eatery in Richland, WA Pale beige, borderline clear (no pellucid, but clear). Nose of DMS, light chemical fruit and husky notes too. The flavor is sweet, some watery grain. Almost like last running water with some herbalness.
