Draft at brewpub. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Sweet and roasty aroma. Sweeter in flavor than your average porter with a balance of roasted malts and some hops. Creamy texture with average carbonation. Nothing complex but not bad.

On tap at the Brewpub. Rich roasted chocolate malt body. Sweet milk chocolate notes with trace amounts of light roasted coffee beans. A prominent smokey note and some light pine and grass. A very nice drink.

Clear dark brown with a nice light tan head. Sweet dark malt aroma with of lots of chocolate. Flavor is a bt sweet and easy on throast but entirely void og the ascidic sourness that a lot of porters have. A gateway dark beer ? Tsaty though.

Dark chocolate, flat body. Nice chocolate roast aroma with a syrupy chocolate body that endows this brew with a decadent, desserty quality..

Pours a dark brown w/ a tinge of red. Aromas of coffee/roast malts. Nice flavors of roasted coffee with some chocolate.

I thought this was a great porter. Pours a dark, murky brown color, with a small tan head. Smooth and creamy, a bit roasty with ample amounts of chocolate covered fruits, astrigent at times, but still quite tasty, and has a nice dose of hops. Very enjoyable.

Almost as dark as the stout. Lasting wisp of foam. Hops come through before the chocolate in the aroma. Flavour is a little different for a porter. Tastes like a Dunkle IPA. Hop finish. Unique and enjoyable. Reading the Atomic ratings it looks like there is either a consistency problem or the are tinkering with the recipes on an ongoing basis.

Murky lighter brown with no head or lacing. Roast and cocoa in the nose with a hint of fruits. Roasty cocoa flavors with some bitter citrus. Thin bodied with a roast finish.

[Sample Tap] This was one of the better brews. This had a great flavor and I liked the malts and the hints of hops. A dark brown brew that was so smooth and silky. All the brews here where very smooth and silky. A must if you stop in Richland Washington.

I really liked this one. Definitley my favorite of the Atomic Ales. Very dark in color. Not very much head though. Nice deep aromas of chocolate. The flavor of chocolate was there too complete with cocoa roastiness and a dusty finish. Very tasty stuff.
