oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Apr 23, 2008 Bottled. Golden colour with huge fluffy head. Aroma is grains, flowery hops, some yeasty notes as well as fruits. Flavour is rather fruity with some earth and yeast mixed in. As it gets warmer it gets some sweetness added to the flavour. Alcohol is very hidden in this.
IlanMan (575), Winona, Minnesota, USA Oct 1, 2008 Bottle: Pour is medium hazy golden with a big white head. Head lasted quite a while because my bottle was a gusher which was due to over-carbonation. Aroma is sweet malt, yeast, and light fruit with some floral characters. Flavor is also sweet and floran but has some hop character and bitterness which doesn’t have much place in this brew. The color of the beer is a little off as well for it looks a bit like hazy urine...oops. Overall, not a bad brew but could hammer out a few kinks. thenick (583), North Bellmore, New York, USA Sep 27, 2008 Tap @ Publick House, Brookline, MA. Pours a hazy golden amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast, dark fruit, malt, and a bit of candy sugar as well. The taste hits you completely out of left field - we have dark fruit and candy sugar up front, dissolving into spices, hops, and slight malt at the end. A wonderful surprise, and yet another beer you just can’t judge by its cover. Jerre (1410), Waregem, Belgium Sep 3, 2008 Bottle, 33 cl. Yesterday @ home (bought Bierloods)
Hazy darkgolden color, with large white head.
Aroma, some yeast, fruit and malts.
Medium body.
Taste bit strange sweet, fruits, some spice, and hops + bitterness.
Good. Hugerat (419), somerville, Massachusetts, USA Aug 24, 2008 Nice thick, frothy head, but doesn’t leave much lacing on the glass. Aroma of bubble gum, apricots, and cloves. Flavor is a little flat with some sweet, fruity notes. Fairly effervescent. Nothing special. ElGaucho56 (380), USA Aug 21, 2008 Draft. Pours a slightly orange-gold with decent dense white head. Peachy, champagne nose, fruity and warming palate, good carbonated mouthfeel. A decent, if unremarkable grand cru.
