Bottled. Fruity sweet apple aroma. Golden color, white head, good lace. Apple, citrus, light sweet, light bitter, sparkling, refreshing. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the same beer as Augustijn Grand Cru.

Draught at The Map Room. Pours clear yellow-orange with an average fizzy off-white head, mostly lasting, good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), average hops (herbs), average yeast (cheese, meat) with notes of peach. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Clouded straw color with a big white foaming head. Floral aromas at first with a slight hint of citrus. A bit of malt and the citrus at first, finished on the dry side. Alcohol well hidden. Nice brew.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s warm golden with a huge, white and lasting head. The aroma has sweetness and it’s spicy and perfumed. The flavour has sweetness and notes of citrus, malt, yeast, spices, and the overall impression is perfumed, but pleasant.

Draft at Eulogy in Philadelphia, PA. Pours a pale golden with a white head. Aroma of candi sugar, pear, and yeast. Lighter on the texture and mouthfeel, but not watery. Flavor of bread and pale belgian malt, accented by a very mild sweet apple and pear. Finish is clean and soft. A decent belgian session that won’t kill the palate.

Amber with fair, creamy off-white head / Nose of sweet banana and spice / Medium to full body, sweet and malty with no discernable hopping, and with good finish / Flavors of banana, cherries, caramel, cinnamon and cloves / A tad cloying, but a good beer nonetheless.

In spite of pouring a dirty blonde, the aroma is strongly molasses. The interplay of different grains lends a good chewiness to the palate and also offers interesting flavors to play with in your mouth. A nice beer.
