Bottled, served in Atomium branded Trappist glass. This has been popping up in better beer bars and stores in my area. Line between beer and foam is jagged, what with streams of bubbles constantly running up the sides. Head shrinks, leaving shape of a baked custard and light lacing, Smell is sweet with bits of coriander. Color is hazy gold, like my old "Aurum" class ring. Taste is a bit drier than the smell, full of bubbles like a dubbel. Crispy malt taste, coriander again, and… lemon basil? That’s my impression. Hints of orange cream, too. Mild sweetness kept in check by respectable noble hops. Center pillow of foam stays there until the very end. Some peppercorn in the finish.

On tap at hopleaf. Pours cloudy yellow. Very sweet and almost sticky in flavor. Good, but the sugariness is almost overwhelming.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2014 Bottle: Light golden body with a touch of haziness, but rather unexpected clarity all around. Very volatile with a gigantic, off-white head. Aroma includes apple & banana esters with some white grape tartness, baked bread, & clumpy yeast. Taste follows through with more banana esters & a light grape-like, apple skin sharp astringency. Wheat, grains, & some faint clove & coriander spices show up with a bit of warmth. Mild phenol character, a touch of yeast & malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Decent at best, but nothing to write home about.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Murky light orange pour. Smaller white head. Aroma is malt, dark fruit, a little booze, and some spice. Picking up a hint of veggie soup broth as well. Carbonation is maybe a touch lacking. Slightly syrupy yet not too dense in the body. Decent enough beer, but not great.

Bottle from Total Wine Glendale. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. Leaves a lot of lacing. Not getting much on the nose. I definitely see what some are saying about bubble gum on the tongue. Finish lingers a bit. Not the best Belgian but at only $2.99 it’s good value for money.

Nice orange pour with a short lived white head. Aroma is bubblegum yeast and caramel. Flavor is sweet, a bit yeasty. Kind of a bubblegum bomb, but not bad.

Bottle. Pours dark orange with a short head. Dense aroma. Nutty, caramel creamy, malty goodness with bubble gum belgian yeast. Light-med sweet. Medium body, thick-creamy texture, soft carbonation and light sweet, oily bitter finish. Good, not great.

Appearance is oddly dark - very much the color of honey. Large bubbled head that’s pretty thick, and maintains at a 1/4 inch. Decent lacing. I do not enjoy the smell. Certainly the scent of malt; also of corn. Surprisingly considering the scent, i did enjoy the taste. A very gentle sourness, but appreciable none-the-less. Pretty par. Mouthfeel is definitely the beer’s strong point. Crisp and tart additions to the flavor. Overall, this was a bit better than I expected, but nothing too special. Certainly an odd mix of some detrimental attributes, alongside some surprisingly good ones.

Smells of raisin and citrus. Pours a gold with an orange hue and a thick foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin white film of bubbles. Tastes of white grape juice, orange citrus, and coriander. Medium carbonation, medium bodied. Excellent beer.

Beer pours dark golden color. Aromas of caramel and malt. Very carbonated. Nice sweet malt foundation. Some fruit notes. Alcohol is warming but not overpowering. Easy drink ability.
