Stale, oxidized. really, really old tasting. poured and looked nice, but that was it. tastes like sewer water. terrible. 100% terriible.

Hazy rusty copper. Mild aroma for a IIPA, some citrus and some grapefruit. Malt heavy beer with a bit of spicy, grassy hops. Hmmm

Pours a fairly unattractive color, akin to dark and murky dishwater with a tan head. The beer is redeemed, however, by a nice aroma and flavor. Hops dominates, but this isn’t one of those "hoppy for the sake of hoppy" beers, and it has a boozy, almost barley wine quality to it. For an 8% beer, it’s pretty easy drinking (i.e. dangerous), but it doesn’t live up to the great beers of the IIPA style.

Bottle [355ml]. Pours a hazy orange-copper with an average size diminishing fluffy white head. Aroma of bready malt, resiny hops, citrus, light alcohol and pepper. Lightly sweet flavour of citrus fruit, tropical fruit, resiny hops, caramel malt and a hint of pepper. Average bitter finish. Alcohol is hidden in the flavour. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange pour with a white head. Really solventy and soapy aroma, kind of like dish detergent. Grass, pine, and a little bit vegetal. Some sweet caramel, maybe a hint of grapefruit. The flavor is very astringent, bitter, and soapy. Pine and grass, some vegetal notes, and minimal citrus peel. Sweet caramel malt serves as the base.

esjaygee (3209) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Hazy amber with a creamy and pillowy ecru topper that fades slowly. Aroma of citrus, caramel, grains and floral notes. Taste is earthy and dusty with light citrus, pale malt, a touch of nobility and moderate bitterness. So-so.

Draft, served in a goblet. Copper color, hazy with white head. Citrus, grapefruit aroma but not as strong as I expected. Medium body, sweet and citrusy. Overall a good beer that I?d drink again.

Bottle. Cloudy dark orange color. Medium white frothy head. Lots of lacing. Grapefruit aroma. Bitter grapefruit flavor. Medium palate. Not thick at all. Good drinkability. More like a regular IPA. Missing the sweetness that I’d expect in a douple. Overall good, but not great.
