Aroma is earthy, pale malts and beery. The flavor is fruit, earthy and a beery/slightly astringent finish.

Wheaty, slightly sweet nose. Pours hazy golden with quick white foam. The light cereal malts come out in the taste with a slight tartness and a dry finish. Light body, light fizz, slightly watery.

Not excited. Aroma is water. Light clove. Not much happening. Appearance is bright yellow, white head. Taste is club soda with a hint of wheat and clove. Mouthfeel is overly carbonated, drinks easy. Overall, I hate the brewery and just wanted a Kolsch for the record.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2016 The straw color was somewhat un-intriguing. Light-bodied, the aroma would be sourdough bread. Very good, worth trying.

A great lightweight beer. Little bits of bread dough and grapefruit in the aroma following a pillowing pour. slightly bitter and peppery on the finish. Wonderful summer thirst quencher.

bottled - light bodied with a crisp clean finish, just like the description states. Pale golden color, decent aroma. Drinkable and refreshing.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy light amber with a thin bubbly white rim head, dots of lace. Taste is light wheat and malt with a watery body, that adds carbonation more than hops in the finish to keep a balance. Drinkable, with emphasis on the "light."

Draft sample at MBGSF07 from notes. Pours a clear light golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, light citrus, mild bitterness, grass, very boring.

Draft. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma is light, delicate, as expected. The taste is light, hay, grain. Typical.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 8/2014. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, apple, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast notes. Pretty weak in strength and too fruity on the nose. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly dry mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice and pleasant Kolsch style beer. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
