Draft. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma is light, delicate, as expected. The taste is light, hay, grain. Typical.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 8/2014. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, apple, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast notes. Pretty weak in strength and too fruity on the nose. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly dry mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice and pleasant Kolsch style beer. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and fruity yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

I’m assuming this is the right beer (on the menu at Capone’s as Summer Delight Kolsch). Poured a yellow color with a small sized head. Grass, some bready/graininess, and citrus. Thinner and watery.

Petkus331 (280) - Redford, Michigan, USA - AUG 30, 2014
A light aroma of cereal and a touch of yeasty funk. Appears nearly clear yellow, very bubbly, nice white lace and a thin ring of foam. Tastes refreshing, light cereal, corn, yeasty cheesish funk, very mild earthy bitterness. A little watery with mild fizz texture. Overall, a very enjoyable kolsch.

Tap. Super clear yellow. Nice lacing. Nose of corn. Crisp body. All corn and strong yeastiness.

pours unclear extra pale yellow with a thin white cap, minimal retention and lacing. crisp pils, lean cereals and grains, nobleness - floral grassiness, lemon, sulfur, pepper, hint of metal, slightly dusty. low carbonation, light body - tad watery, dry and a tad bland grassy-herbal finish. clean nice session pils.

Draft at Whole Foods. Pale gold pour with minimal white head. Pale malt and grainy hopcitrus in the nose. Light palate heft with pale malt and some hopcitrus, nothing to write home about here.

Strangebrewer (901) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 7, 2013
bottle. Poured pale straw coloured with an initially large white head that settles down, some sediment present with the pour. Light malty aroma, a bit corny. Creamy mouthfeel, light prickly carbonation, finishes clean. Pale malty base, grainy with a touch of yeast. Not bad, light and refreshing

Pours hazy, yellow-gold with a short, off-white head. Aroma is lemon....grain. Taste is the same....very light and crisp. Pretty nice.
