Bottle, very dark brown, medium head that dissipated. Sweet aroma of cocoa powder, vanilla, tootsie rolls. Medium light sweetness, light bitter. Slick texture, ave carbonation. Ends kind of weak. Nice up front. Slightly watered down. Not bad.

Draft that pours dark. Huge chocolate aroma and super sweet smell. The taste was kinda weak and almost had a french toast taste to it. I know, weird. I was expecting a way fuller flavor so it kinda disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - 341ml. Dark brown body with a thin beige foamy head. Wonderful, complex malty/hoppy aroma with strong chocolate hints. Vanilla is also noticeable. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries roasted cereals and cocoa notes. Ends with a good bitter/roasty finish. Well done.

12oz bottle from Crossroads Beer & Wine, Burlington, MA. The chocolate aroma leaps out as soon as the bottle is opened, but develops a more maple syrup vibe on pouring, one of the most attractive smells I’ve ever come across in a beer; the colour is deep chestnut brown with a thin tan head; it’s smooth and silky in the mouth with lots of dark cohocolate; but the finish is rather thin and watery with maple syrup sweetness and some light dryness - I was hoping for more.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of chocolate, maple syrup, and pancakes. Poured brown/very deep orange in color with a tiny, off-white head around the edges only. Opaque. Not sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of chocolate, maple syrup, and pancake. It really tastes just like a traditional New York chocolate egg cream drink. Medium body. Thin, then dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Chocolate, maple syrup, egg cream finish is medium sweet and dry.

My dear Watson, you are correct. This beer is straight up cocoa puffs. man the aroma and flavor is uncanny...cocoa puffs. Not a whole lot else to say. A bit thin, quick finish, not complex...but if you like cocoa puffs...go get some!

Pours an opaque chestnut with a thin tan head. Aroma has a slightly sweet chocolate...smells like cocoa puffs. Flavor follows suit...just like freakin cocoa puffs with a hint of roastiness. Mouthfeel is lignt/medium...too thin for a stout...and has a roasty/cocoa puff finish.

Bottle: The aroma consists of heavy chocolate, maple syrup, and the slightest hint of roast. It pours a dark brown with no transparency and a half finger beige head that quickly fades to a thin film outline by a thicker ring, The flavor starts with moderate chocolate syrup. The finish has a good dose of maple syrup with a hint of roast and coffee. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel just doesn’t match the flavors. I love the chocolate and maple syrup combination, but the mouthfeel doesn’t match up...the body is just too thin for this beer. Overall, add some body and some nice coffee notes, and this would be outstanding.

Unsweetened cocoa dominates taste, and I enjoyed it! Clear dark brown color, with limited head and body. Didn’t notice hops.
