3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle, Whole Foods. Chocolate cola pour; light brown head becomes absolutely nothing with no lacing. Dominated by vanilla; notable chocolate; slight roast. Thin yet sticky. I want to like this but this feels too thin for how "decadent" it’s trying to be.

Taste from Tony. Smells like a milkshake. Tastes like strong chocolate. Too sweet for some. Good for me.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark chocholate, cocoa. Very impressive amount of chocholate. Tasty but a little to overwhelming and tough to drink too much of it. Probably would be best in a milk shake or small amount with chochlate cake.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown pour, smallish head. Great aroma of bitter, dark chocolate. The flavor features a little more roast, espresso, and even a little vanilla, but still plenty of chocolate presence. Palate is a little light, but otherwise this is a good brew.

Draft to pint. Looks good; a fairly opaque dark cola with foamy beige head that dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes solid; LOTS of chocolate and a bit of roast. Average on the palate. Solid beer.

Dark brown, thin beige head. Rich cocoa aroma, very decadent. Medium body, heavy roasted malts, light sweet hop finish.

From a bottle it certainly appears decadent. Has a unique old world chocolate aroma. Expected it to be more bitter but this comes across pretty good. Even my wife, who doesn’t like beer said this had strong dark bitter baking chocolate undertones. At times, even a hint of sizzling tartness pokes at yer buds. AS I near the end of the bottle, I’m starting to enjoy this. Roasty wood finish like that of a campfire that was doused by a bucket of rain water. Nicely done.

This one poured a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma was medium roast, light green hops, and metal. Flavor was lgihtly metalic, but with nice warming roast and light chocolate. ok.

The beer pours motor oil dark with a small brown head. The aroma is dark chocolate. The flavors are dark chocolate and chocolate. The aroma is very strong and the flavors don't quite equal that. Overall the beer is decent, but not impressive.
