bubbleflubber (1853) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Pours golden into the glass, without a real retentive head nor lacing. The bouquet is of earthen grains. The flavors have some young cherries, yeast hints, grains and some macro corn notes in the background. The finish is a bit of plastic, hay and sourwood. The texture is thin, along with a watery mouthfeel. No real substance to this, but interesting enough to try a new offering to rate.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a quickly disapating white head. Aromas of wheat, coriander and light orange zest. Palate was light b odied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, coriander and orange zest with a crisp dry lingering coriander finish.

Strykzone (5063) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 11, 2010
An atomic head erupts from the glass during the pour. It is almost white with shave cream look. Retention is strong. The beer is golden and quite cloudy. Nose is crisp with fruit. Flavor is also crisp and mildly tart. Light orange flavor that grew as the beer warmed. A nice sessionable beer.

Atwater did a really good job of capturing the "Blue Moon w/orange" flavor in this beer. Very smooth and drinkable with tones of coriander and orange peel. Exactly what i had expected.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy pale gold color with a very thin white head. Aroma is very light with mild hints of coriander and wheat. Flavor is mild as well. Some coriander and orange at the beginning but mainly I get a watery wheat flavor. Some mild dryness and tartness with a watery finish. Needs more flavor.

Bottle. The name is appropriate ... at least visually. Thin to no head. The aroma is vaguely sweet, tinged with spice. This drinks with a hint of grist, but mostly sweet, Iíd say. (#3743, 11/15/2009)

blankboy (6263) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2009
Bottle [12oz]. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with some tiny floaties and an average size diminishing white head. Aroma: I get wheat and oranges first followed by yeast and light hops -- not much herbs though. Flavourís slightly watery and could be more flavourful, nothing bad about it though. Itís mainly wheat, oranges and light spices and with a mild sourness in the finish. Light to average bodied. Itís a fine beer and easy to drink, itís just nothing special.

12oz bottle. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma of coriander, sweet malt and tart orange. Coriander flavor with some tart orange and a bit of sweet malt before a mostly dry finish.

On tap during the annual Boston/Salem/Marble head tour. Sampled at the Sunset grill. A bready beer with a tart taste and mild lemon nose. It was ok.
