Bottle to pint shaker. Pours a clear light yellow with sparse head. I’m just going to say that I’m not a wheat ale guy, but this happened to be in our beer swap at work. Kinda watery & bland. Not too much going on.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 9/2014. Pours lightly hazy bright golden color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, spice, and earthy hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, straw, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, spice, and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very solid spiced pale wheat ale style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt, spice, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Orange, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Lightly hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet orange, wheat malt, and mildly spicy coriander/white pepper flavor. Not bad, just very light.

pours almost clear bright yellow with a quickly disappearing wghite cap, no lacing. sulfur, dust, metal, faint wheat and malts - faint fruitiness as well - perfumey pears maybe, cardboard, soap, bit of garbage, offensive coriander taste, candied lemon peel, spicy fruitcake, honey sweetness. moderately low carbonation, light body - oily, semi-sweet and bland spicy-grassy-herbal finish. a brew with a lot of minor and major defects..

Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed golden-yellow color with a tiny white fizzy head. The head fades quite fast leaving only a light level of foam on the sides of the glass. Smell- The aroma is heaviest of a lightly toasted wheat smell mixed with a little bit of orange and lemon. Some more yeasty and grassy aromas are there as well and are mixed with the aforementioned as well as a small amount of a floral aroma. Taste – The taste begins with a light wheaty and slightly cracker flavor with some orange sweetness. A yeasty flavor develops later on in the taste all while the orange flavor dwindles with it being replaced by a little bit of lemon and grapefruit. Some grainy flavors as well as a bit of a grassy hop come to the tongue at the very end, leaving a rather crisp and light wheat flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is very light in nature with a crisp feel and a higher carbonation. For the mix of wheat and citrus as well as the lighter abv. of the brew, the thin body and high carbonation are rather appropriate for make for a nice crisp and refreshing brew. Overall – Not a flavor powerhouse, but a good sessionable drinker on a nice warm summer day. An alright brew overall.
