BPW #63 On tap at HopCat. Appearance is a very deep red. The aromas and flavors are sweet with malts and some hoppiness with a nice yeast flavor flowing through the drink.

Draftt I don’t know if they had the beer hooked up properly because this was dark and malty for an imp ipa. I even had then pour out a sample to make sure.

lighty hazy brown, minor off white head, lacy. nose is mild malt with a hint of citric hops. flavor follows nose, malt with citric hop notes. medium bodied, mildly bitter finish. not a bad beer, but has more of the qualities of a red than an ipa. much less a double ipa.

Draft at HopCat. Poured a clear reddish copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellnet lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a thin slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2009 Alcohol in both aroma and taste. Good balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Best brew that I have tried from this company.
