Aug 22, 2003 Yet another good beer from Stoney Creek. This brewery is really starting to impress me. The Dunkel pours out to a nice, dark, amber to black color in the glass with a very, slight head. Taste is quite malty and slightly sweet. A very, easy to drink dunkel and a beer that would go over with the macro set.

Aug 27, 2004 Pours a nice looking burnt caramel color with a small rimming off-white head. Lacing is nice. Aroma is very nutty and with some light, but nice hop notes. Flavor is nuts, caramel but not too sweet. Finish is slightly nutty and hoppy. Nice clean swallow. This is pretty good.

Jun 14, 2006 from the bottle. poured a dark mahagony with a light tan head. aroma cheeries, brown sugar, malts, chocolate, dark fruits. flavorthe brown sugar comes out first, than a hint of sourness, malts, fruity with a nice hop dryness, nutty. good beer. easy drinking beer.
