3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thegreenrooster (2525) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 5, 2012
Pour is a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma is a nice citrus hops with some dry malt. Flavor is about the same. Bone dry malt with a small but decent hop there. Not the best IPA by far but decent and by far the best thing Atwater has put out.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2012
From the bottle this poured a clear copper body with an off-white head that quickly devolved into a film. The aroma light citrusy hops, dust, and some sweet grain. The hops gave more flavor than bite, again light and citrusy. The malt tasted of toffee and an off-putting butterscotch. It ended on a mildly bitter note. Once was enough.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 osoroso (11) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 30, 2012
From a can. When I first poured the beer I got a pleasant whiff of hops that quickly became muted. Pleasant carbonation level. A bit on the sour/ bitter side even for an IPA. A simple no frills IPA.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Patrickctenchi (347) - columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Bottle, Jan’12 vintage....Cloudy amber with white head and bubbly poured into a tulip.
Nose is hops, grass.
Taste is hops, but mildly bitter...no tingle....no hop "bite".
It drinks well, and it’s pretty smooth, but overall just has a flat taste to it.
No "wallop" as advertised.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 doboy (336) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - MAR 6, 2012
This poured a lot better than it ended. Pours a dark yellow, clear with carbonation. Light head laced nicely. Aroma upon pouring was very promising, but where did it go? Bittering is good, but the hop taste is minimal. Not an American IPA. Bittering is alright. Mouth feel is ok. Nothing I would run out to the store for.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 hollardustin (292) - Indiana, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Pours hazy yellow/amber with a big creamy white head. The aroma is grassy and earthy with some hints of citrus and lime. The taste is similar to the nose with some bread on the back end. The finish is dry with medium bitterness. Overall, this is a very poor attempt at an IPA. While there is some bitterness, there’s just nowhere near enough finishing hops and the malt bill isn’t big enough to balance the hops that are there. I find it hard to believe that this beer is 62 IBU’s or that an IPA made with Magnum, Centennial, and Cascade could be this bad. Skip this one.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Skyview (4859) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Received a single 12-oz can from distributor. Pours a semi-clear amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of both citrus and grassy hops, a hint of multi-grain malt and some light spice. Taste is medium bodied, nice balanced hops and caramel malt with some mild bitterness. Finish is slightly sweet, with more of a malt base than hop presence. Closer to an English Pale Ale than an IPA.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BeerKurve (74) - - MAR 1, 2012
Overall, a very tame IPA. Hops are very subdued and are on the same level as the Yeasty, Bready and Malty aspects of the beer. However, it feels crisp and refreshing and feels wonderful on the palate! Good beer to drink if your looking to drink a beer on a hot summer day that has some good flavor to it without being too strong!

Draft sample at MBGWF12. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and complex malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. This soft beer met my expectations.
