COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our newest beers, it is very unique. It’s light alcohol content makes it very drinkable, but the hops pack a wallop. Brewed with four different malt, plus Herkules, Magnum, Centennial, and Cascade, and more Herkules go into this one.

Draught @ Headkeeper: This one pours a clear, golden color. There was a small white head that left some lacing. Lighter nose for an IPA. Pine and some grapefruit notes. The taste is along similar lines. Pine and grapefruit hops dominate, with some biscuit and earthiness. Dry, almost stringent. Just rates an OK.

There seems to be a bit of a trend toward lower gravity IPAs and I love it though what differentiates these from a regular American pale ale is beyond me. This one has a crisp, hoppy nose w/ lots of light lemon zest citrus notes. It’s a cloudy pale beer w/ a head of very mixed bubbles. Flavor is light in terms of both sweetness and bitterness but it suits the style well enough. This is borderline thin in texture which is emphasized by its relatively low carbonation. This is a nice beer overall and one I can drink a lot of.

Aroma is yeast, bread and citrus hops. The flavor is citrus hops, malts, a hint of fruit and a dry finish. Not bad but kind of thin in the flavor.

@Mondial de la Bière 2012, Montreal; canned - quite clear blond beer with a little foam left; pretty hoppy with notes of apricots; lively and full-bodied; astringent and very bitter; long hoppy fruity finish; quite dry

Style et résumé: IPA de grande buvabilité.
Comment: Portion de canette au Mondial 2012.
Description: Bière dorée avec belle mousse blanche. Le nez est tout en houblon des agrumes et un peu d’herbe. Les houblons sont bien présents en bouche malgré que le liquide soit mince, la texture à la limite aqueuse. Il y a une belle amertume en fin de bouche.
Note: 6+/10

Pours a clear golden orange color with a slight amount of head. Faint hop aroma for an IPA. Mostly citrus and grass. Taste is all hops and bitterness. No malt to back it up. Still fairly smooth finish and somewhat refreshing. Certainly not terrible but not a very good IPA to me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a medium sized creamy white head that left some lacing. The aroma was floral, piney and grapefruity hops though a touch vague. The flavor was sweet and tangy with moderate floral and citric hops and light pine with a caramel undertone. Medium length mixed hop finish. Medium body. Decent.

12 bottle, just under 3 months old, hopefully it holds up. It is rather low in abv for an ipa. It pours a hazy amber with a foamy white head. The smell is mostly citrus. Orange is a prominent scent. Maybe some peach in there too. Light fruits, subtle malt sweetness. The flavor is decent. It isn’t too sweet which is nice. It also isn’t too massively hopped. With .5% less abv it does have a better flavor than Founders All Day IPA. It is not too sweet, but still nectary. Plenty of fruits and citru, medium to low bitterness in the finish. It looks like the cans are brewed at Latrobe. The bottled version is fine, it looks like the canned version has some issues.

Pour is a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma is a nice citrus hops with some dry malt. Flavor is about the same. Bone dry malt with a small but decent hop there. Not the best IPA by far but decent and by far the best thing Atwater has put out.

From the bottle this poured a clear copper body with an off-white head that quickly devolved into a film. The aroma light citrusy hops, dust, and some sweet grain. The hops gave more flavor than bite, again light and citrusy. The malt tasted of toffee and an off-putting butterscotch. It ended on a mildly bitter note. Once was enough.
