Atwater Hefeweizen

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub in North Huntingdon PA - the tap was labeled as ’Dirty Blonde Hefeweizen". The beer poured a cloudy yellow-golden color with a medium sized yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet wheat, citrus and banana. The flavor was sweet wheat with fairly strong notes of banana and clove and a hint of citrus underneath. A nice full bodied hefeweizen.

Draft sample at MBGF 06. Hazy Golden amber with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sweet wheat aroma. Light to medium body with a watery texture. Medium citrus flavor with a light citrus finish of short duration.
