jgentgesdo (545), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Nov 3, 2007 Pours pale yellow with a very generous white head that lasts well. Nose is faint soap and cookie dough. Flavor of soap, rather faint malts, rather sweet. Watery/soapy mouthfeel. Neh.
det2nj (27), Newark, New Jersey, USA Jul 5, 2008 Golden-amber pour with moderate but not excessive head.
Sweet aroma and sweet flavor. Hops, malt, and a hint of the advertised caramel. Very soft mouthfeel. goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Jan 30, 2008 Poured a hazed yellow with a HUGE white head that stood an inch and a half over the rim. It wouldn’t die down and made it hard to pour the rest of the beer. The aroma at first smelled like honey malt but then came some tart vinegar. The flavor was also pretty sour as well. Poop that sucks. It was the only beer in the fridge. I couldn’t drink it. One of only three or four drain pours out of well over 3000 beers. BeerBelcher (750), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Dec 28, 2007 This beer first distinguished itself by the amount of head present - it seemed to sort of gush all over the place. Body seemed a bit thin and was a clear (but not brilliant) yellow. Aroma was slightly sweet; not quite corny or grainy...almost mediciney, although I read soap in another review and could agree with that too. Flavor is slightly sweet but rather metallic and soapy. Mouthfeel is OK.
I won’t be driving any great distance to have this again. I bought this 12oz single at Brew&Brew in North Ridgeville, OH. edden (924), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Oct 14, 2007 7/12/07: Bottle. Bright orange-yellow body with a large, airy, white head which was full of large yeasty holes. Yeasty, grassy lager like nose. Flavors include hay and a bit of lemon.
