COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A frontal assault on the American IPA style that features not only the classic American Cascade and Chinook hops, but two of the new “Super Cascade” varieties in both the kettle and in the dry hop. Dried and ground orange peel is added to the whirlpool to deliver a citric bittering that sets HopApeel apart from the masses.

12oz bottle from Kroger in Grandview. Copper pour with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of orange, pine, grass, trees, little bready. Tastes are toasted malts, earthy, herbal, orange peel. Eh, ok.

12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice hop note with a bit of orange mixed in. Appearance is a golden amber with a thick white head that diminishes slowly. Taste has got some nice upfront hops with an orange peel note throughout. Palate is medium to high carbonation with a lingering hop and citrus aftertaste. Overall, Decent stuff. I would buy it again. Cheers!

bottle - This brew has a fairly mild, citrusy, bready aroma. The flavor has some good hops though perhaps not as assertively bitter as many American IPAs. The citrus is there. It’s not as strong as I expected for the hops varietals and added orange peel. I’m not really picking up orange specifically. Fairly good beer overall.

Burnt orange with a thin off white cap that cleaves to the perimeter, making for some decent lacing. Malty aroma with hints of damp cardboard. Malt-forward taste that smothers the hops. Had trouble detecting the orange peel, which is no great loss. Nice carbonation with a slightly oily feel. Solid bite toward the end when the bitterness comes through. Clinging, dirty aftertaste.

bottle. Pretty nice ipa. Something was off or perhaps it was old - have to try this one again

Very dark orange pour from 12oz bottle at home. Thin layer of white head. Has a Malty, dry, hoppy, and rotten fruit aroma. Very bitter and burnt grapefruit taste. Rather unpleasant in my humble opinion.

Pours a hazy copper color with a medium head. Aroma has some mild grapefruit with some lemon zest. Taste has bitterness up front followed by malts and some citrus. Long finish.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy dark orange amber color, thin white head cover, sheets of lace. Taste is solid malt that adds clear citrus hops on the swallow, both sides drifting to a long finish. Straight-forward, but easy to drink, and enjoyable.

Pours a cloudy amberish gold with a white head lasting long enough to satisfy any. Complex medium bodied aroma of earrth, citrus, malt and dense twig. Mellow on the palate with flavors of malt, citrus, earth and floral hops. No aftertaste.
