1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 coldbrewky (1155) - Saugerties, New York, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Holy carbonation batman!.. a near gusher right off the cap....Ludicrous growing white head. I thought for an instant that I had mixed acids and bases together in some type of "Simpson-esque" parody. The bottle itself was enough to sink the Titanic, sturdy and pale green and heavier than...well you get the picture. Pale to deeper yellow with monstroud slowly settling head. 20 min later head has settled to film. Sporadic random lacing. Body has gone from clear to lightly hazy. All the precursor items warn me from putting this concoction to my lips. Light nose of lemon...nothing else. body is moderate to cloying..and last a long time...crap. Up front clove/ all spice glomeration that descends into a lemon sour finish which ends in glue.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 nick76 (3583) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 12, 2011
The aroma is sour with lemon, corn malt, and sugar. The appearance is pale yellow with a huge head. The taste is somewhat like the aroma but not as sour as I was expecting. The palate is thin but OK for the style. Overall not a very good beer but I am suspicious about the age of the beer from the size of the head.

Frothy with a solid malt presence. Gives a great mellow flavor but not dull. Slightly hoppy but not overpowering.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow-straw body with dark sediment, thick, puffy off-white head. Grassy nose with yeast, lemon, and bread. Light body with somewhat faded grassy hops, biscuit, and lemon, somewhat tart, with a bitter, dirty dead yeast finish. Not very good.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tomer (971) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAR 12, 2011
0.33L bottle, meduim stable head with some lacing, hazy lemon yellow colour, aroma of tropical fruits and citrus with something cheesy, grapefruit bitterness and light fruity sweetness. Nice clean fresh lager.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 zvikar (1320) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - FEB 16, 2011
Pours pale yellow with a gigantic white head, aroma of apples, yeast, some sour tones, flavor of malt, cereals, Bret, herbs and bitter sweet finish, medium bodied
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DSG (3004) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 3, 2011
Bottle. Beer of the month club, slightly hazy golden with a huge head (covers about 7/8 of the glass, plus some more on top). It took more than 10 minutes before I could pour enough so I could actually taste anything. Aroma of fresh grassy noble hops, hay, some malt notes, bread and light buttery hints. Flavor has light malt sweetness at first, slightly grainy, and finishes with nice grassy hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. A good one.
Later when I poured the few MLs still left in the bottle, the beer got really cloudy with some brown floaties that later sunk to bottom of the glass. Aroma and flavor got yeastier with some citrus and the character turned to be a bit like unfiltered Franconian Lagers. From other ratings it seems like Atwater Block beers aren’t very consistent so I’m glad I got a good bottle.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 drowland (3879) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 20, 2011
1/8/10. Bottle thanks to Cavie! Slammed straight from the bottle on the beach. Sweet malty characteristics with huge butter and a nice lingering citrus hop bitterness that reminds of lime and grapefruit.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3381) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 5, 2011
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with an enormous foamy yellow-white head that faded fairly quickly. The aroma was sour, tangy and industrial with a bit of sulfur underneath. The flavor was tart, tangy, bitter and a bit dry with a faint citric note and again a note of sulfur. Light body and very overcarbonated. Not good at all.
