CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Sep 8, 2007 Pours a transparent pale golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma of pale malt and some fresh Saaz hops. Body starts with some mild sweetness and hoppy bitterness for balance before a slightly estery, drier finish. A decent pils. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jul 30, 2005 Sampled draught at the Michigan Brewers Fest. Watery dark amber with no real head, does not look even remotely like a pils should...very light grassy nose that you have to work to find...body lightly malty with bare wisps of grassy hops, watery and bland mouthfeel, perhaps a hint of maple towards the end, perhaps I will not drink this agian. Cornfield (4342), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 8, 2006 Clear golden of body with a fizzy white head that delicately laces the glass. It’s got a soft, bready aroma with a light herbal hopping. Medium-to-light in body. The flavor is fresh buttered bread with some grasses and a snappy hop bitterness in the finish. Not shabby. T-Birds, Plainfield, IL
