Sep 8, 2007 Pours a mostly still pale bronze orange. Aroma of lightly sweet, fruity pale malt and a hint of tartness. Body starts very thin and over-attenuated with some grainy oxidized tartness toward a watery finish. Very blah and possibly infected.

Dec 26, 2006 Bottle... Hazy orange ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, off-white head. The nose shows signs of infection... biscuity, but also sharply acetic. Pungent flavor with light sweetness and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied with medium carbonation. Finishes very tart and tangy. Doesn’t seem oxidized, just "dirty." However, I pretty much like anything sour, so this one scores decently on my personal scale. If I rated by style, the score would be much lower.

May 15, 2006 Drinking from a bottle of Atwater Rost Amber Beer - Copper bodied with a quickly vanishing head, this has a lightly roasted, sweet malt aroma with some earthy hop scents. The flavor is caramel, a drop of vinegar, apples, and nuts. Strange interpretation of a Vienna. Beer of the Month Club
