2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 holdenn (1855) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2009
12oz bottle pous a golden brown. Toasted sweet malts, grain, and something funky in the aroma. Thin but the carbonation is creamy smooth. Toasted malt flavors that become really off at the finish with a sour dirty note. not good.

Amber color with a wieird roasty, smoke aroma. Flavor is malty, but a bit off. I can’t decide what was up with this beer, but it just didn’t do much for me.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 CaptainCougar (6833) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - SEP 8, 2007
Pours a mostly still pale bronze orange. Aroma of lightly sweet, fruity pale malt and a hint of tartness. Body starts very thin and over-attenuated with some grainy oxidized tartness toward a watery finish. Very blah and possibly infected.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 ChainGangGuy (3834) - Canton, Georgia, USA - SEP 27, 2007
Appearance: Pours a clear, orangey-copper body with a thin, thin ring of bubbles.
Smell: Aroma of a drizzle of caramel over a basket full of spoiled, sun-baked fruits.
Taste: Suspiciously sour fruit flavors with only a meager amount of caramel within. Finishes tart, watery, and a bit acetic. Unless they were aiming for a bargain basement Flanders Red, then this beer is miles off course.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Dear me. It seems that, more often than not, these Atwater beers just don’t survive their trip into the bottles.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 HumuloneRed (750) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 17, 2007
Beer of the Month Club. 12 oz. Bottle. Bottle open with loud pop. The beer foams heavily in glass. The nose has vinegar notes to it. Sour and some sweet notes in the flavor. I don’t think it held up well. Need a fresh sample.
