COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
TC is the cherry capital of the world and now Montmorency Cherries from this colorful town in Michigan’s “Up North” have made their way into a wheat beer for the ages, for a taste that’s totally cherry. Prost!

Sampled on draft at Crave this beer poured a reddish caramel color with a large fluffy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was cherry and toffee. The flavor was sourish cherry wit bread and a bit of caramel. Medium length finish. Medium body.

From a 12 oz bottle. Looks nice with a deep Amber body topped by a good head, but the aroma and flavor disappoint. Some cherry is evident but it’s subtle and accompanied by more bitterness than tartness. Medium body and near medium carbonation.

Bottled. Pours honey cherry color. White head. Aroma is cherry and wheat, lemon. Sweet. Flavor is sweet cherry, wheat. Ehh.

Bottle. Nose of sour cherry and a touch of wheat, sugar. Pours a confusing orange-brown with a short, lightly oily beige head. Light body with grainy wheat, lightly tart and even less bitterness, malt is straightforward and leans on the crystal. A bit sharp-edged, tart cherry, bit of gummy slime/dough. Pass. Rated on 7-25-2015 at 800 Degrees Three Fires, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer is presented with a small ivory head that is mostly lasting, amber transparent body, very little carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma presents tart cherry and wheat. The flavor is tart cherry and sweet. The mouthfeel is smooth and this is a light bodied fruit beer. There is very little going on with this beer as it lacks aroma and very little flavor. It is an easily forgettable beer.

One of four different types from a sampler case purchased at Sav On Beer in Pittsburgh. Too much wheat and not enough cherry. Tasted kind of acidic.

Draught. Clear reddish dark orange with large spongy beige head, fruity aroma, fizzy. slightly metallic sour cherry taste, medium finish. The metallic taste is not good at all.

bottled - not much aroma. Decent amber color. Needs to be a little less tart and a little more sweet. Not bad but I was expecting more.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 4/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy reddish copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of light sweet/tart cherry, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Okay aromas with solid balance of cherry, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with very weak strength. Taste of light sweet/tart cherry, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of cherry, wheat, cracker, toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of cherry, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/acidic mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a decent fruited wheat beer style. All around good balance and solid robustness of cherry, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering.
