12oz bottle pours a dark brown/black with a medium khaki head. Only vanilla extract in aroma. Taste basically of just vanilla with a slight coffee bitterness as the palate fades. Very underwhelmed.

Pours dark. Smells of vanilla. Taste a slightly weak, mostly vanilla. Palate is rather light. Not a great beer but a good sessionable beer.

12 oz bottle pour deep brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and vanilla. Taste is sweet vanilla and coffee. Too much vanilla.

Smells like vanilla extract. Tastes like vanilla extract. No coffee flavor in this beer what so ever. Very one note. Note good.

12 oz bottle, Whole Foods. Dark cola pour; light brown, fizzy head turns to a small ring and leaves virtually no lacing. Aroma has enough vanilla to knock you on your ass; chocolate and caramel; roast and coffee are present but quite subtle. Flavor makes the chocolate clearer, and retains a lot of vanilla; finish only shows slight bitterness. Mouthfeel thin to medium-thin. Plenty of much better beers in this vein.

Bottle split with wife pours black with a foam tan head. Nose of coffe with french vanilla coffeemates creamer. Taste has slight roast but is mostly vanilla extract. Very sweet.

Sample at brewery. Nice chocolate and roasted malts, just a little vanilla to throw it off, but in a good way. Solid.

What a nice desert. It strikes the palate with a blast of vanilla that surrenders to Porter perfection. Nice.

beer is very light to taste. lots of vanilla smell and taste with a bit of coffee taste to the finish. not a beer id buy again, but also not a beer id say no to if offered.
