Bottle. Aroma of chocolate and malts but not strong at all. Pours black with no head to speak of. Love the pronounced vanilla taste. A bit thin for a porter but still good. ----Hophaze out

Bottle. Thin black pour. Vanilla over powers the coffee aroma and taste. Good flavor just too much vanilla. Should have aged the beer on vanilla beans instead of using extract. Far too strong flavor with the extract. Not bad but could definitely be better.

On tap. Comes dark brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of vanilla and coffee. Taste is vanilla, coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. As others have noted, it is thin and artificial. Still drinkable.

Beer from tap at bar. Beer is black in color. Creamy white head dissapears quick. Some light lacing. Aroma is cocoa. Taste is mostly cocoa with a smooth finish. Medium bodied beer with light carbonation. Overal an ok porter. Somewhat artificial tasting.

Black. Tons of vanilla aroma and flavor. Subtle coffee. Kind of a weird taste at the end. Thx Anthony.

Big aroma is the best part. Pours dark with almost no head. Aroma does have vanilla notes amid the coffee. Flavor deteriorates, with just a thin, kinda boring java flavor. Porters should have far more complexity before adding things like coffee or chocolate. This would never stand on its own.

ABV is actually 4.5 %. Pours a dark brown with a med light tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate with a background of vanilla. A mouthful is thinner than expected. Not really any coffee flavor detected.

As others have said this beer has a very thin watery mouth feel. I feel the flavors would feel less artificial if they were backed by a nice creamy mouth feel and head but that’s not the case.

Draft - Vanilla, dark chocolate, roast and more chocolate. Jet black with a rich beige head. Tons of vanilla and chocolate. Lots of flavour, but it is all a bit artificial and not much body.

Nice color, it leaves a very good aftertaste. Perfect pairing with chocolate.
