Microbrew of the month issue. Sweet smell of vanilla, strong taste of vanilla and sweet aftertaste. Small white head with a dark, medium to full body. Microbrew of the month club sent this to me. It’s too sweet for my tastes.

Nice color, it leaves a very good aftertaste. Perfect pairing with chocolate.

Black pour. Nose is vanilla and coffee. Taste is vanilla extract, roasted malts. Watery mouthfeel.

Pours a dark brown with a decent tan head and a little lacing from a 16 oz can. Aroma is mostly vanilla. Taste is mostly bitter coffee. The beer is pretty thin and watery, as a whole, it doesn’t do much for me. If there is such a thing as a "session" Porter, this fills the bill nicely, but I’ll take this over a session IPA any day.

[7312-20150626] Tap. Mild roasted vanilla wood aroma. Black body with a big long-lasting creamy tan head and thick lacing. Vanilla roasted wood flavour continues in the flavour with a roasty sweet finish. Full body is quite roasted. Good. (8/3+/8/4/15) 3.8

Too much vanilla and not enough anything else. Very watery and flat. Tastes like vanilla extract. Smells like vanilla with some toasted malt notes. Junk

Pours very dark with moderate head. Sweet flavor, but not overpowering. The flavor starts with vanilla and finishes with coffee. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet up front and creamy throughout. The aroma is a bit weak and the sweetness is a little off putting to the nose. I would like to taste a bit more of the java flavoring.

12oz bottle pours dark brown black with light edges and a small finger of light tan head. Nose is strong artificial vanilla, sweet syrup, french vanilla coffee, light roast. Taste is similar with overpowering vanilla, light caramel coffee, high sweetness. Finishes sweet, round vanilla, light cocoa. Thin. Too much.

2015-06-26. Black body with a moderate creamy tan head. Aroma is strongly vanilla, sweetish, muted mocha undertones. Flavour has sweet vanilla character up front, bitter coffee notes follow. Smooth average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, the vanilla character is nice but the coffee is a bit jarring. On tap at Craft, Toronto.
