Pours a very dark brown almost black with a huge creamy and foamy tan head. The foam was almost volcanic and took a long time to dissipate. Nice malt and nutty aroma but not too strong. Medium body, not too oily or clingy. Fairly smooth with the roasted flavor hitting only the sides of the tongue. The taste lingers a bit then its gone. It hides the alcohol well. Not harsh or bitter. Not the best Stout I’ve had but far from the worst. OK but flavor is pretty one dimensional.

bottle - pours near black with a tan head. It has a dark roast malt and chocolate aroma. Roast malt and chocolate flavor... it’s got a full body though not as full as some in this style. Very good.

From a 12 oz bottle into a Diebolt tulip glass. Pours near black with head and lace. Aroma of roasty malts and milk chocolate, tropical fruit rind. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of dark roasted malts, burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, tobacco. Overall big, bold, rich, flavorful, complex, a tad odd but tasty.

Black pour with semi-creamy khaki head and lacing. Big chocolate notes, roasted malts, some boozy sweetness. Doesn’t really remind me of an Imperial Stout, especially not an 11% one, but it’s decent enough.

Bottle, thanks sevenhokie! Bittersweet chocolate aroma with notes of molasses and licorice. Pours black with a thin light brown head with very little retention and some lacing. Starts with rich chocolate flavors with a little bit of licorice and molasses. Thin bodied for an imperial stout, but that doesn't take too much away it. Finishes smooth with a little bit of roasted malt and a touch of coffee joining the party. Nice imperial stout despite the lack of body.

Bottle poured a black hue w/ large foamy tan head. Big sweet tobacco aromas and dark breads. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light bitter aroma. Tastes are brown sugar, dark breads, licorice, malt, and chocolate. Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle into tulip. Dark dark brown with very light tan thin head disappearing quickly, leaving a little lacing. Aroma is malty with a hint of light chocolate notes. Taste is medium sweet with a lightly bitter but smooth finish. Some light notes of vanilla and roasted malts. Medium bodied beer with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Fairly abrupt finish. Over all pretty good Imperial stout. Little different character then some other Imperial stouts. But good. Not out of this world but solid and unique.

Bottle. Very dark cola colored pour with a smaller beige head. Rich bakers chocolate dominates, with marshmallows and vanilla in here as well. Medium palate, slightly sweet, very good.

Pours nearly black with a finger of tan foam that leaves a bit of lacing. Quite bitter in an unsweetened chocolate kind of way. Finish is a bit chalky.
