3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Pours black, moderate foamy light beige head, nice lacing.   Looks fairly good.   Sweet ashy cocoa on the nose.   Make that big time ashy cocoa.   Very ashy on the tongue, semi-sweet, cocoa and bakers chocolate.   Not a soy or huge roasted malt bomb.   This is 11% ABV?   Not a big beer, fairly moderate.   Huge dusty/ashy cocoa and bakers chocolate on the tongue.   A little chalky on the backside.   Not hoppy, not heavy with soy, not roasty at all.   This is an interesting one in that its got lots of semi-sweet cocoa, bakers chocolate, with some ashy and chalkiness like no other.   Interesting beer.   Thanks Kevin for this one!

The aroma is full but not overpowering. At first taste it is very malty and smooth but finishes with a sweet and bitter taste. It is a very pleasant beer that is easy to drink but can get you in trouble quickly

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared with koleminer20, out of Dumpster Day box #1. Because I think he hates me. Aroma is light, bready, dry, mocha, chocolate, roasted malt. Appearance is brown, light tan head, poured incredibly thin. Taste is just like Vanilla Java Porter, only slightly more flavor. Vanilla, chocolate, biscuit, all light and not good. Mouthfeel is medium body and light carbonation, with a mostly bready aftertaste. Overall, god damn. The people who work great really should consider new careers, they arenít good at making beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. This is from Dumpster Box No. 1. The pour is a thin brown with a frothy thin and light head with a couple spots of lace. The aroma is decent, but really thin. There is a light chocolate and carries a decent mocha tendency. A light booze is present on the back end. It's sweet and smells a lot better than I know it will be. The flavor is full of vanilla and chocolate with a light sweet metallic finish. The mouth feel is terrible. Really thin and light with a strong lack of carbonation and a lingeringly sweet mocha finish. This could be decent if it weren't like latte water. Atwater fails again.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very dark brown almost black with a huge creamy and foamy tan head. The foam was almost volcanic and took a long time to dissipate. Nice malt and nutty aroma but not too strong. Medium body, not too oily or clingy. Fairly smooth with the roasted flavor hitting only the sides of the tongue. The taste lingers a bit then its gone. It hides the alcohol well. Not harsh or bitter. Not the best Stout Iíve had but far from the worst. OK but flavor is pretty one dimensional.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle - pours near black with a tan head. It has a dark roast malt and chocolate aroma. Roast malt and chocolate flavor... itís got a full body though not as full as some in this style. Very good.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a 12 oz bottle into a Diebolt tulip glass. Pours near black with head and lace. Aroma of roasty malts and milk chocolate, tropical fruit rind. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of dark roasted malts, burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, tobacco. Overall big, bold, rich, flavorful, complex, a tad odd but tasty.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour with semi-creamy khaki head and lacing. Big chocolate notes, roasted malts, some boozy sweetness. Doesnít really remind me of an Imperial Stout, especially not an 11% one, but itís decent enough.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, thanks sevenhokie! Bittersweet chocolate aroma with notes of molasses and licorice. Pours black with a thin light brown head with very little retention and some lacing. Starts with rich chocolate flavors with a little bit of licorice and molasses. Thin bodied for an imperial stout, but that doesn't take too much away it. Finishes smooth with a little bit of roasted malt and a touch of coffee joining the party. Nice imperial stout despite the lack of body.
