Not a dark bock, but rich caramel color. Nice earthy/malty aroma with nice head and some lacing. Nice carbonation in the mouth feel with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

From a 12 oz bottle courtesy of Strykzone. Poured a clear copper with a good sized tan head and excellent lacing. Nose is sweet caramel malts with a hint of ripe fruit. Medium body and moderate mouthfeel. Flavor is moderately sweet again from the caramel malts. The finish finally shows some bitterness and there are some odd lingering flavors.

Smooth easy sweet bock. Covers up the 7.5 ABV well. Looks great doesn’t have lots of smell. Would go well with a juicy burger. Only down side is it has a metallic/dry finish.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, roasted malts. Dark amber brown hue with a small off-white head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Flavor is sweet with a mild finish. Palate is watery soft. Overall a below average beer. Aroma and flavor has an off note near the finish. Like cooked vegetables or metal. Lame overall.

Tap at Barcade: Deep orange with great clarity and an off white head. All diacetyl aroma- a butterbomb. Butter over a touch of toasted/ worty barley. Slick body, very buttery and grainy. The diacetyl smothers some pale mildly toasted barley. Diacetyl gone wild.

12oz bottle. Small tan head atop crystal clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, molasses, some chocolate, light raisin, anise. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, earthy/grass, some chocolate, orange, raisin. Medium body, light resin. A bit more bitter than I expect for a doppelbock, but tastes ok.
