Draft sample at MBGF. Clear amber with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Light grainy citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration.

Can on the Metro North train into NYC. Pours lightly hazy gold with a big, white froth head. Nose of cheap cereal grains. Light sweet flavor with modest cardboard, cereal and hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with vaguely tangy citrus. Not very good, really.

Taken as a Lager this beer is pretty good. As a Helles it is just average. Pours a clear golden color with lots of small bubbles. Thin white head with minimal lacing. The aroma is fruity with some malt. Light-bodied with a clean palate. Flavors of fruit, malt and a touch of hops and yeast. The finish is kind of thin and lightly bitter. Overall this beer is blown away by the likes of GLBC but it’s ok.

At MBG summer fest: It's deja-vu all over again, the only thing that would have been weirder would have been if this brew was made by Arcadia... see I lived in Atwater on Arcadia Street and it was hell! Really though, this beer isn't really hell, it's a nice summer quaffer with clean and crisp taste. Hoppy nose and slight metallic finish. All in all, it's okay.

Can. Mostly clear yellow-orange pour with a large white head. Grain and bread, slightly sweet, not too bad for the style.

Bottle. Pours a straw golden body with a white head. Grassy hop notes, sweet malt, and soapy. This beer was spoiled, sour and lemony. bad.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2005 A very drinkable response to the mass-produced lagers... better than most of them. Tasty ’n’ refreshing, especially on a warm, humid day.
