Biere brune brumeuse avec un mince collet. Odeur tres sucré, caramel, oranges, peches, coté crémeux, butterscotch. Gout tres poivré, crémeuse qui fini sec et pateux, poivre noir, Une tres bonne biere!

Sep 30, 2008 Bottle brought home from montreal. Pours a ruby brown body with a thin white lacing. Lots of etoh soaked fruit, prune, peach, orange. A nice presence of spices used in this barley wine, and the 10% kick is just an added bonus. Love for this one.

Apr 28, 2008 Cloudy caramel/ruby poor with a surprising foamy light brown head. Aromas of caramel, fresh barley, peches, meringue and pears... Very long peppery bitter mouthfeel combined with a balanced short sweetness. Full bodied, creamy as well. Flavors are very malty, peppery, a little fruity with an alcohol and earthy finish.

Feb 2, 2008 Bouteille de 500 ml. Couleur orangée. Mousse quasiment inexistante. Au nez les arômes sont l’alcool, le caramel sucré, la prune et les pommes trop mûres. En bouche, pour une bière 10,2% je trouve qu’Elle manque de rondeur. Le goût est bien sur l’alcool avec des prunes-pommes trop mûres et un léger goût de houblon terreux.
